Through it’s funding from the United Way of Greater Toronto, this parenting program primarily aims to empower parents with information and tools, to raise stronger children, thus creating a stronger community. The program also targets children, youth and seniors who are also fundamental pillars of healthy communities.
The services include:
- Workshops, presentations and activities that promote family wellness and best parenting practices
- Sessions are held on NCP premises, in libraries and in both elementary and high schools
- Topics range from parenting in Canada, toilet learning, communicating with teenagers, healthy eating, fire safety, the importance of sleep, to dealing with stress and fostering the love of learning and lots more
